Work Schedule: This is a full-time position in our Clinic working Monday thru Friday.
The Behavioral Health Consultant will function in a consultative role to various primary care teams utilizing the Primary Care Behavioral Health model of care; make recommendations regarding behavioral interventions to the referring PCP; conduct brief interventions with referred patients on behalf of the referring PCP; conduct regular classes, group medical appointments or conjoint visits for patients with behavioral health issues such as chronic pain, chronic disease, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, or post-traumatic stress; and provide limited didactic and in vivo practice training to medical providers as requested.
- Prior experience working as a Behavioral Health Consultant or working in a clinical training setting is a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable.
- PhD or PsyD from an accredited college or university and from an APA approved training program.
- Must possess a license to practice in current state of residence and be license eligible in the State of Washington.
