Cascade Medical, located in beautiful downtown Leavenworth in the Cascade Foothills in Central Washington, is looking for a full-time RN to fill a night shift position in our Emergency Department. 

Work Schedule:  Average work week will be 36 hours (0.9 FTE) on night shift.  Work schedule is 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 a.m., with a variable weekend commitment required.  Days worked to be determined.

Our RNs are responsible for providing quality patient care while maintaining Standards of Professional Nursing involving assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in our Emergency Department.  


  1. This position's primary role is in the Emergency Department.  However, one may work in other areas/roles of the medical center, such as Acute Care, as necessary.
  2. Provide direct patient care including lifting and transferring patients and providing personal services to patients.
  3. Demonstrate positive behavior in line with our shared values; builds professional and positive relationships with patients, families, physicians, visitors and staff.
  4. Utilize Standards of Nursing Practice; demonstrates appropriate assessment, outcome identification, planning, and evaluation of a patient's care.
  5. Promote patient privacy and maintains confidentiality. 
  6. Demonstrate the ability to handle emergency situations in a prompt, precise and professional manner.
  7. Demonstrate the ability and appropriate technical skills when administering treatments and procedures.
  8. Restock emergency room supplies as needed, assuring equipment is cleaned between patients.
  9. Triage outside phone calls.
  10. Monitor ambulance dispatch calls.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Current nursing licensure from the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Must have a minimum of one year of nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Must possess current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications along with either ENPC or PALS certification.
  • Certified Emergency Nurse Certification (CEN) desirable.
